Music ties people of all walks of life together. It can be therapeutic, reminiscent, sympathetic, funny, sexy, energizing Hearing it live just enhances the experience. The vibrations travel somewhere through your soul. The melody can act as a time machine, transporting you to a moment you'll remember forever.
No need to explain good music to you. . . . . . .
You know the notes and what they can do. . . . . .
The rhythm and the rhyme. . . . .
Can make you lose your mind. . . . . .
Body's groovin' to the beat. . . . . . . .
Shakes your boobs and moves your feet. . . .
You feel like grindin' on yo brotha. . . . .
Not that relative from your motha. . . . .
Brings back words you don't know how. . . . .
The timing's right, the timing's now. . . .
You're gettin' bendy to your jam. . . . . .
Aw now it's over, bummer, damn. . . . .
Guess I'll have to hit the replay. . . . .
You already did, 'cause you're the DJ. . . . .
Did the ending blow your mind? I hope so. It took me a whole 19 seconds to think of it. That's 17 more seconds than I spent on the rest of the rhyme. . . . . . .Did you have a fancy time? {Reading it, that is.}
How's that for timing?!?!? |
Since we try to go to as many concerts as budget allows, I thought I'd start keeping track of them! You know, viewing a band in concert can really make or break the way you feel about them. Sadly some talents are limited to the critiquing of a studio. True talent really shines when you have nothing to hide behind but a live audience!

- Blue October (and here)
- Dave Matthews Band (and here) (or here) (one more) (every single one of them for different reasons)
